Using SEO Book’s Keyword Suggesiton Tool to Get Content Ideas for Your Website

If you’re looking to get content ideas for your website consider using SEO Book’s Keyword Suggestion Tool as a starting point.

If you’re not familiar with this tool, it provides a list of related keyword phrases to a keyword phrase you enter, and its primary target is for people trying to find keyword phrases to use in a PPC advertising campaign.

PPC advertising campaigns, however, aren’t the only applications this tool can be used for. By entering your own website’s keyword phrases you can find other keyword phrases people are searching for that will help you come up with content ideas that might be beneficial to have on your website.

Depending on how competitive the market is for some of the keyword phrases, you can potentially attract a lot of free traffic if you can fill a void in information people are looking for.

I’ve used this tool to add to my roadmap for implementing more related content at Which Team Wins?, as I’m currently in a competitive keyword nightmare. Adding some not so competitive content that people are looking for should help the website from a SEO perspective.

I’m interested in hearing if anyone else has had much success using a keyword suggestion tool like this one to come up with content ideas for your website, and I’m also interested in hearing about any success you may have found with it.

Excellent tool. I haven’t made use of this one before. Lately, I’ve been looking at Hittail which tracks searches that lead to your page and then suggests additional keywords to consider. It’s too early to tell yet but it looks like it can be useful. The one thing I don’t like is the need for yet another javascript to be added to the page.

This is a great tool. I like to use this along with Google’s Adword’s keyword tool which can give you an approximation of search volume. Don’t always take these numbers at their word, but use it to help you discover which keyword variation is a better choice. Sometimes you would be surprised at which version of a keyword(s) has the higher search volume. Of course this is all tied to Adwords, so the keywords they return are more likely to be one’s that people are bidding on which is why I like to also use SEObook’s tool as it will give you the opportunity to find additional “goldmine” keywords that people aren’t bidding on.

I’ve used this tool in the past, but since Google has brought out their own keyword tool, I just use that, since I believe it to be way more accurate. And yes I have had success

I remember seeing this site. Is the Seo Book the one that has a continuity program for 100 dollars a month where they will teach you everything you need to know about SEO? Or am I confusing them with someone else?

There are lots of common ideas that have not reached saturation, like Myspace, Wordpress, and other types of template generation. These require a great deal of skill, and you will still be working hard to make money, because so much is given out free.
