I used to be angry about Google banning my adsense account. Eventually I realized that Google AdSense was hurting my website income more than anything. I was making my website quite ugly with these big blocks of text ads. Now I make much more money by integrating affiliate links into my content. Plus it looks ten times better. Thanks Google!

Ok,

I was getting as low as 1 cent for a click!

Came back from a week holiday and my account was disabled.
Same: I’m a threat to their advertisers! What a crap.
I have done nothing wrong - no clicks.
Advertisers? for 1 cent? They can keep them.

I wrote them an email - it is over a week.
I guess I start removing that Google crap from my site
and look for better alternatives.

For once I’d like to hear a story about someone actually getting a banned account reinstated. I guess Google is just too worried about the man hours involved with properly reviewing accounts and making sound judgments. Instead they will rely on automated software to act as their final judge.

I even heard people reporting that brand new websites with no visitors at all have been approved. I think that they will look at the overal look of your website, the target-audience, the content, and the topic.
